I and the Village
Yesterday Isaiah went to Manda Farm to greet the animals.
He saw eye to eye with Malia, the goatling that Michael and Anna found lying in the ice when they got home from watching the Inauguration. She seemed completely frozen, but then they saw her tongue flicker, so they wrapped her up and bottle-fed her in the house.
And he was sized up by the Narragansett turkeys, who descended on us like a flock of Inquisitorial monks. It was actually quite frightening until Michael came out and assured us that they didn't care about us at all; they were just preening for the ladies.

A beautiful day.
A beautiful day.
