There's been a lot of kissing going on lately. For one thing, Bean has gotten increasingly tolerant of being kissed: he might say, "No!" when you kiss his ear but then come right back with "More" as soon as you stop.He recognizes that booboos get kissed and recalls booboos long past, and perhaps invents new booboos, for the purpose. For another, he continues to practice his own kissing skills, both waved (by touching the back of his hand to his chin and moving it sharply away) and applied (by touching his mouth -- open or closed -- or cheek to the spot to be kissed). Finally, all his friends are now into kissing too: this morning Mr. Baa and Red Bean Paste had a go of it, but it seems like that didn't last long, because by evening Red Bean Paste was moving on.
