Last Friday, Isaiah put on his best overalls, his cleanest diaper and his most dignified pacifier and went off to his first wedding: Bram and Stella's beautiful, very moving ceremony under the cherry blossoms in Wooster Square. He slept blissfully through the wedding itself and even the post-ceremonial stroll (see above) under a pink sky of just-opened blossoms.
He woke up for the open bar afterward, though. Oh did he. He was wonderful for an hour or so and then suddenly the world was way, way too much with him.
Still, he was as good as he could have been. And, yes, we know: the carousel ride may have been a mistake.
What can we say? He nagged us.
Most guests were awake until the open bar and then asleep after. Izzy provided welcome balance.
