He behaved exemplarily in the airport: expressed great interest in the armrests
and retained his usual level of activity.
We can't speak for him, but for his parents it was an unexpectedly untraumatic experience: the only time he got upset was when we tried to get him to sleep. Once we gave up on that idea, he was back to his happy, toe-sucking self.
Who knew flying could be so easy?
Of course, as the father of six children who sat next to us said, "There's always the flight back."
