We've updated the "Interests" section of Isaiah's résumé to include the following items: Standing up. Sitting back down. The standing up business has been active for a little while, but sitting down has always posed enough of a problem to make him forget the pleasure of having stood up in the panic of not knowing what to do next. The whole thing usually ended in a whump and a frightened wail. But now Isaiah seems to have discovered the marvelous fact that his knees can bend (a discovery his mother attributes to her tutelage -- she spent some time yesterday demonstrating the sitting down business and bending his knees for him). And now all he wants to do is: Stand up. Sit back down.
