Actually, it turns out that this is called a "training cup." A "sippy cup," it turns out, is something that looks similar but from which you have to effectively suck rather than sip, i.e., it is a bottle in a slightly different form. A training cup is something from which you have to suck somewhat less aggressively. The mysteries of childhood, and childhood products, will never cease. Isaiah is getting better and better at holding his training cup, even sometimes with both hands, and getting the sippy extrusion to his mouth. Occasionally he also gets some water out of it.
