Lina's arrived for an extended stay, bringing some impressive (grand)maternal multitasking skills.
She appears to approve of what's been done with the child in her absence. In the photos below, note that 1) there's a pacifier, yes. Isaiah had become utterly inconsolable -- like, perforated eardrum inconsolable -- when he wasn't sucking on something (breasts, fingers, candy cigarettes), so a few days before this foto, we finally bought a pacifier, which has made him (and us) much, much happier. 2) The Mechanical Pig (Shaking-Head Type) makes a cameo above Lina's head. N is unaccountably pleased by this.
