best toy ever

We spent some time this morning walking around to neighborhood yard sales looking for toys. The books say that babies need a lot of variety. We're trying to keep up. We found a goodie grab-bag at one house, and a solid wooden fit-the-round-peg-in-the-round-hole type toy at another, and were feeling quite satisfied with ourselves when we got home. At which point Isaiah spent fifteen minutes -- a rapt, high-voltage fifteen minutes -- crumpling newspaper. Demonstrating Mira's thesis that the only thing a baby cares about in a present is the wrapping paper.

(Video taken, as you can tell, without the benefit of an eye on the viewfinder. But you get the idea.)
