Eating

Today Isaiah ate solid food--infant rice cereal, which is in no way solid--for the first time. We assumed he wouldn't like it initially and he didn't: for the first few minutes, we'd suggestively poke the rice slurry into his mouth and he'd get an expression on his face which said, roughly, What am I supposed to do with this shit? Then, when we were about to give up, he changed his mind.



It turns out that he loves rice cereal. We were so charmed by this that we took endless footage of him eating, and since we couldn't decide which we liked more, we've posted another video below. (From a different angle!) We are aware that this adds up to nearly two minutes worth of Isaiah eating rice cereal. (Is this a baby blog or a parody of a baby blog? You decide.)
